Steph of Obsessed with Baking chose this delicious recipe for TWD! This is my second week of baking with this fabulous group! I have had a chocolate bread once before and loved it! Well, now this is my new favorite! The texture of this bread is fantastic and the recipe is easy! It does not fall apart. I think this is a great breakfast or snack bread. Once you bite into the bread, you get the cocoa flavor from the bread and the chocolate chips. But then, you get a burst of banana flavoring! This is a must try for anyone who has never tried chocolate bread!
If you would like to make this delicious recipe you can go to Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan or read Obsessed with Baking.

I have had this book for about a year. I’ve looked at the cover pattern about 20 times. I decided to start it. I hope to wear next week!

I took this pattern from a scarf pattern out of So Simple Crochet by Melody Griffins. I purchased this book a few years ago. Original scarf pattern is on page 34, Long Zigzag Scarf. I think this will make a nice Afghan for me to use at soccer, softball and baseball games this spring season.

I am starting an Afghan…. trying to get ready for softball season .
Picking yarn colors are hard!

Does anyone out there love Vera Bradley bags as much as i do?

OK, so I decided today to make tamales. Pork tamales for Christmas Eve and sweet tamales for New Years Eve. Tomorrow jalapeno and cheese tamales. I bought masa at a Vallarta Supermarket. I love that place! If you have one in your area… go check it out I you’re into Hispanic cooking.
I also bought Buenelos. … a New Years tradition but this year I didn’t have to make them.
Off to our friends house for dinner! Happy New Years!
